Part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Residences of the Royal House of Savoy”. Existing conditions were captured with mobile solid-state LiDAR, processed to point clouds and meshes, and modelled in ArchiCAD as an IFC-based record of the historic fabric.
From that model: survey drawings and construction details for interventions in listed fabric – where tolerance for error is zero and the drawing must say exactly what the wall does.
Role: LiDAR capture, scan-to-BIM modelling, construction details.
