Third prize in an international competition for the remodelling of a Brooklyn townhouse – 315 m² of interiors reorganised around light, circulation and the building's existing bones.
The section does the work: floor openings and raised rear windows pull daylight through the deep plan, and a sunken playroom ties the basement to the garden – the existing corridor-bound section is traded for one continuous vertical room.
